Q: Is breakfast included with the room rate? 

A: Yes, complimentary breakfast is freshly prepared and served every morning. 

Q: Is the WIFI fast and reliable?

A: Yes! We offer fiber optic, high-speed WIFI at up to 200 MBPS. Our strong network sends the signal throughout the whole property. 

Q: Does Tamarindo have parking? 

A: We are happy to offer our guests secure, on-site scooter parking. Cars must be parked on the street.

Q: What time are check-in and check-out?

A: Check-in begins at 1:00 PM. Check-out is at 11:00 AM. 

Q: Do you offer a late room checkout?

A: Yes, we need you out of the room by noon at the latest, but you can still use the amenities around the property until your later departure. There is a fee for late checkout.

Q: Does Tamarindo have luggage storage? 

A: Yes, we do! We are happy to store bags if you arrive early before check-in or if you have later departures after check-out.

Q: Does Tamarindo provide soap and shampoo?

A: We provide organic hygiene products created exclusively for Tamarindo by  Yucatan Senses.  

Q: Does Tamarindo have hair dryers?

A: Yes, we do! Available upon request.

Q: Does Tamarindo provide towels?

A: Yes, we do! We provide both shower and beach towels.

Q: Do you offer Laundry Services?

A: Yes! For a small fee, we’ll wash, dry, fold your laundry, and return it to your room for you while you’re out for the day.

Q: Do you offer Snorkel Gear?

A: Yes, we have complimentary gear for you to use. We’ve got you covered for your mask, snorkel, and fins - and we’ve even got a little bag for you to put it in.

Q: Are there security cameras?

A: Yes, we have exterior cameras recording video on 4th Street and the community areas within the property. There are no interior cameras, and no sound is being recorded.   

Q: Is there a smoking area?

A: NO, smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property. If you would like to smoke, please and thank you, outside the gate on the street. 

Q: Is it safe to walk around at night?

A: Yes, we do. Jimena does. Just like anywhere in the world, don’t make yourself a target when you're traveling. There are police constantly patrolling downtown with their flashing lights on - that’s to let people know the police are present and you’re safe - the lights do not mean trouble. Sirens do. If you act respectfully, you should be fine.

Q: When will I be charged for my reservation?

A: You will be charged for your room rates immediately after you enter your card info during booking. 

Q: What is your refund policy?

A: We will refund up to 50% of the total reservation if the cancellation is made 4 weeks before your check-in date. The deadline cut-off date to cancel is 4 weeks before your check-in date. If no written cancellation is made before this deadline, no refund will be given. 

Q: Do you accept children?

A: We do not accept children younger than 10 without prior written permission from the owners. Please inquire prior to booking if you are traveling with your young ones. 

 
 

Owner's Rights

Tamarindo Bed and Breakfast is privately owned and operated. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. We will not be responsible for guest accidents or injury, or for the loss of money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind.
